The collective Manifesto Founding Partners

THE COLLECTIVE

Hyperstudio is a multidisciplinary creative studio founded in 2020 that explores the intersections of art, design, and technology. Composed of artists, designers, engineers, sociologists, and digital creators, the studio operates at the intersection of contemporary art, new media, and interactive design, developing projects that activate space through perception and participation.

Each work emerges from a research-driven methodology combining technological innovation with careful attention to sensorial experience and human interaction. Rooted in the principles of site-specific and time-based art, through the integration of algorithms, light, sound, and movement, Hyperstudio’s installations reframe the relationship between body, space, and environment. Without the viewer’s presence, the work remains incomplete: interaction is not optional—it is foundational.

Hyperstudio’s installations have been exhibited internationally in cities such as Rome, Paris, New York, Milan, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Singapore, and London. With each project, the studio continues to shape new narratives within the field of interactive installations, forging a distinct voice at the crossroads of art and technology.

MANIFESTO

Hyperstudio was founded to reimagine the relationship between art, technology, and the human body. Our goal is to create dynamic environments that are not merely observed but come alive through sensory and participatory experience. Each installation is conceived as a sensitive system—a living architecture that reacts to presence and encourages viewers to rethink our relationship with space, time and perception. Our works are not static objects, but interactive, performative spaces—breathing, evolving, in continuous motion. They are meant to be inhabited, and only through direct engagement they find their full expression.

We build environments that sense, respond, and breathe. Our works are not made to be observed: they are experienced, lived. Each installation is a living entity—evolving, dialoguing, transforming alongside those who enter it. We believe in art that unfolds over time, that takes shape through the encounter of body, space, and matter. Sensitive spaces that are sparked by gestures, nourished by presence, and defined through connection.
